The Mainsail Development EB5 Visa Program

Mainsail's EB-5 Visa Program began in 2012 with the development of their first EB-5 project which provided financing to the Epicurean Hotel by utilizing EB-5 investor funds to replace interim bridge financing. I-526 approval has been received on their first project and paves the way for their next job creating EB-5 project, the Waterline Marina Resort & Beach Club.

The Current EB-5 Job Creating Project

'Waterline Marina Resort and Beach Club'

Is a job creating project under Mainsail's EB-5 Visa Program. Waterline Marina Resort and Beach Club is located within a targeted employment area (TEA) within a USCIS designated regional center. 

Waterline Resort EB5 Program

The Waterline Marina Resort & Beach Club is situated on Anna Maria Island on the gulf coast of southwest Florida and will be an entity that creates necessary jobs under Mainsail's EB-5 visa program. 

The Waterline Resort development features a full-service resort hotel with 39 two bedroom, 1100 ft2 suites (78 rooms); facilities will include a 50 boat slip full service marina, resort pool and sun deck, restaurant/bar, and beach access.

The Waterline Resort, will operate as an Autograph Collection property, part of the Marriott International Inc. boutique luxury line of accommodations. The project has commenced construction and completion is projected for March 2017.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: EB-5 participants do not invest in the job creating project. The job creating project receives a loan from another entity for EB-5 purposes.

EB-5 Visa Program Highlights

  • An I-924 Exemplar submitted to USCIS on Dec 16, 2015 for Mainsail's current project
  • EB-5 financing comprises no more than 36% of project cost
  • Projected Job Creation is 14.35 jobs per EB-5 participant
  • Projected completion of Job Creating Project is April 2017
